Peach Tree Rascals are a group based out of San Jose, California. The members are composed of Isaac Pech, Tarrek Abdel-Khaliq, Joseph Barros, Dominic Pizano, and Jorge Olazaba. In roughly two years, the group has established a strong digital presence via social media and streaming platforms. Their heartfelt songs blur the genre lines of music while still connecting to listeners across the globe. The group members got together in high school and bonded off of their similarities. Kaliq and Pizano attended the same high school and shortly after Pech joined their school. While everyone worked with music in different forms, they wanted to continue to make an effort to do something different. They then decided to together to make music.
In August 2018, Peach Tree Rascals released their first single, “Glide.” The single was well received by listeners and critics. The second single the group released was “Plus” in 2019 followed by the release of “Summa” at the end of July that same year. “Summa” has a happy, nostalgic pace that reflects on fun-filled days with friends. In August, Peach Tree Rascals released “Mariposa.” The track caught viral fame on the popular social media platform TikTok.
The following release “Mango” talks about the positivity of going through tough situations. The track “Things Won’t Go My Way” was the next single from Peach Tree Rascals. The rhythm and jam of the song help to keep your energy high when you’re feeling low. The easy-going sound becomes something that fans of the collective have grown to appreciate. A stand out single from Peach Tree Rascals was the following track “Not Okay”, which blends indie together with pop and hip hop to present a beat-driven song with heavy lyrical emphasis. The single focused on escaping a moment when you’re not feeling good enough to deal with life’s circumstances.

Peach Tree Rascals made bigger waves when they announced signing to record label 10K Projects. Shortly afterward, they released the single, “Deer.” This song was the first of the singles that was released under a record label as opposed to being self-released. Fans could also begin to hear more of the cohesive indie-pop rhythm with a hip-hop flow. In July 2020, Peach Tree Rascals released the track “I’m Sorry.” The song spreads a positive message of not letting the tough times get you down. Fans can expect to hear the collective’s lush chords and atmospheric production.
The six-track project titled I Can’t Wait For You To Come My Way was released on August 21, 2020 and was Peach Tree Rascals’ debut EP. Within the project, listeners can hear indie rock, R&B, funk, hip-hop, and pop. The short EP brings a lot of feel-good vibes to airwaves and features their hit songs: “Mariposa”, “I’m Sorry”, “Deer”, “Mango”, “Glide” and “Violet.”
By utilizing the force of digital streaming services, Peach Tree Rascals have been able to breakout into the music industry through their unique style and sound. Their genre-bending songs have put them in categories to be discovered by a larger number of listeners. Whether it’s laid-back jams, heartfelt moments, or positive messages, Peach Tree Rascals aren’t letting the weight of the world stop them anytime soon.
